What are the rules on Filming without permission?

Hi,

Recently been making some videos out and about. These videos are going to be put on a website, and may contain peoples faces (but low quality, so you can't actually see who they are).

Do i still officially need their permission, even if you can't make out who they are?

Also, if they are talking in the video... do the same rules apply?

Basically we pranked a phone booth and someone picked up, then we made them search for easter eggs round a car park.

You don't really see their face, but hear them clearly.

We got their permission to use the footage on a "TV show", but not to be put online- i guess it still matters?
