What are these called

Hey Guys,

Thought i would post on here since i've given up on all hopes of finding what these things I am looking for are called. Basically its like an A3 pad you place on your desk to jot things down on however its not just paper its like in a tray usually made of leather or similar and somewhere to place a pen, I always thought it was called a 'scratchpad' but couldnt find anything under that name. Anyone know what these are called or where i can find one.

Are they not called desk pads which you insert your corporate paper into?

Exactly what im looking for, thanks guys. Couldnt remember the name and had it on the edge of my tongue, kept thinking of blogger for some reason.

I thought they were Blotters?

Called so because you use it to blot excess ink off the page from fountain pens.

Could be talking **** though
