Hey guys,

The aim of this thread is simple; list a computer, its processor and what its crunching.

i.e.

Main Rig - 4400+ - windows folding smp - WP
File server - 930D - linux smp - WP
Backup server -QX6800 - seti

etc....(those are examples, not my machines)

This is not a willy waving 'i have 8 quad core systems here are the specs including 1337 overclocks' but a system and what its doing thread. :)

Thanks for any contributing posts, if you want i will summarise the results. :)

  • Main Rig - 2x Xeon 5150 2.66ghz - Win_SMP_FAH or OSX_SMP_FAH @2400PPD
  • Media Rig - Core2Duo 2.33ghz - OSX_SMP_FAH @1000PPD
  • Backup Storage - XP3500+ - Win_FAH @100PPD

These come together to give me 3500PPD... im planning on dumping the 3500+ system and replacing it with 2x Xeon 5365... this will become my new Main rig, folding with OSX_SMP of course :)

I'm running a Manchester core +4600 [512kb x 2 cache] @2618MHz i.e. 200 above stock with 1 GB DDR400 Ram @ 2-3-3-6. It's SMP in Edgy Eft via VMware.

E6300 at stock running 2 STD FaH consoles (1 on each core) 500ish PPD but only running 16hr-18hr days at moment so getting 350-400PPD.

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz, just started out on Folding@Home using the Windows Command Line Client. Highest PPD so far is 217.

My two dual core laptops are crunching Seti, Einstein & Rosetta:
Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2400 @ 1.83GHz
Intel(R) Core(tm)2 CPU T5600 @ 1.83GHz

my main home machine is an old A64 3400+ clawhammer 754 at stock (2.2ghz) with 2gb mem runnin FaH

The other borgs I have are all P4 and P3's and are basically anythin up to 2.66ghz with little or loads of mem again running FaH

I have to say even though most of these borgs are crippled in one way or another, my score has seen quite a boost lately :)

24/7 (if all goes to plan but very rarely does :o )
Home - [email protected] - Ubuntu_SMP @1950ppd
Office - [email protected] - Win_SMP @590ppd (only ever had 2610 :( )
Office - [email protected] - 2x Standard client @400ppd (range 200-1350ppd)
Office - duel [email protected] - 2/3 standard clients @220ppd (range 160-825ppd)
Various hours
Office - 6x P4@ 2.6-3.3 - 1 Standard client @350ppd (range 80-300ppd each)
Borgs - 7?x [email protected] - 1 standard clients @100ppd (range 0-?ppd)

Desktop - E6300 3GHz - runs WinSMP when I'm home for about 1800ppd but is normally o** when I'm away.

Laptop - Core Duo 1.66Ghz - folds sporadically.

Brother's machine - XP2500 at 2Ghz, but he plays RuneScape all the time so it doesn't submit much...

A64 3000+ @2100GHz
SETI, Einstein, Rosetta, Leiden, LHC(if there's work)
also attached to Orbit@home more in hope than expectation.

Celeron 2.4 @stock
Leiden, SIMAP (When there's work)

My rig, E6600@3000, folding with VMware/ubuntu64, 2100 ppd. On 24x7.
XP2500-M @ 2.1Ghz, folding with standard windows client. On about 6 hours a day.

Main box E6600 at 3.1 GHz running Seti 24x7
Ye Olde Boxe Hyperthreaded P4 3.0 at 3.1 GHz 24x7

Both running optimised clients and stock coolers, for 3500-3600 cobblywotsits total per day :D
