Im on a service desk at the moment and quite bored, hence OCUK but what are you acctually doing at work now?

All i get is people coming into work in the morning and forgetting their password because they've been to sleep and it fell out of their head :/

On OCUK is not an answer :)
 
Working out a migration plan for new Cisco equipment being rolled out next year, whilst not resulting in any downtime for the hundreds of VPNs running over the platform...including MANY banks :(

Sat pricing a house for underfloor heating at the minute, coffee break can't come too quick at the minute!
 
Building a Gas Recompression Station model so i can look at the effect of explosions when combined with Toxic / Jet & Flash Fire releases.
 
My boss who was meant to be going through stuff with me before hes on leave next week has dissapeared for a bit, ive done all the reporting for the end of week stuff for management ... so feet up browsing and thinking about getting breakfast.
 
I finished my last shift at 1am this morning till mon night
So sitting at home on the laptop (researching a new amp)contemplating putting on a good dvd , drinking coffie ,Burning in my new Ultrasones as well so abit of music ,maybe a dog walk in the afternoon
damn i love long weekends:)

Actually this morning I'm trying to come up with a benefit model that will justify a £350,000 investment in a Federated Search system. No chance.

I also need to produce a CBA looking at the differences between an integrated European IPT / Unified Messaging Programme versus an ad-hoc approach involving upgrading London and allowing the other European offices to move at their own speed until critical mass is achieved.

It's not all sex, drugs and rock n' roll in the life of a Business Analyst.
