recently read an ocuk thread and picked up a pile of books
Pegasus Bridge by Stephen E. Ambrose: read it and very good. It is the story of possibly the most important target on D-day. "hold until relieved....hold until relieved"
Attack State Red: about half way through and really good. You hear all the depressing news about british soldiers getting hurt on the news, just good to read what we are actually giving the taliban in return.
