What are your hobbies?

I am trying to get into skydiving, the cost, the location of the dropzone and the great (lol) British weather all seem to try their best not to let me, but one day... :D

I don't know really, I don't play games no more, my r/c car is going for sale, uhhh, no hobbies actually.

All my hobbies have something to do with cars.

1, Scalextric.
2, RC Cars.
3, watching motor sport (the car my stepdad built and more).

but also

4, Movies.
5, Music.
6, Web design (yes I do do websites just for fun).
7, Skiing.
8, Ice skating

Get yourself to Italy for an accelerated free fall course, dont go to America, they are cowboys and you will die.
Parachuting is for girls and people called Derek.... Paratrooping is for proper geezers

And Italians are crazy fools that would probably forget to give me a rig and let me jump with a big umberlla :D I am sure it would be cheaper than doing it in the UK but would I be getting a BPA A cert? I don't think so...I know there are are dz in Spain that are cheaper than here, where you jump with Brit instructors, but I don't know about Italy, have you done it there?

Isn't paratrooping just like skydiving with extra death?
Forget the advertising, we are selected for our good looks and charisma, thats why Royal Marines are ugly, they are all failed Para's. :D

Funny git :p

Paratroopers (as far as I know) are soldiers that instead of being deployed in a zone by a ATV or a boat or whatever, are droped from a plane and parachute down to earth. However that and skydiving is completely different.

I am probably wrong though :D

Yes, i did my Cse in Southern France at a place called Cohhers (spelt something like that) with a Red Devil Instructor but he was off to Italy to run another cse shortly after, i got it for free as well :D ). A lot of ex Army FF instructors will run Cse's in southern Europe, look in the mags for courses.

Parachuting is just another way of getting to the Forward edge of the Batle Area (FEBA), its what happens after that makes us different.

What instruments do you play?

I can read sheet music and have perfect pitch, so a few hours with any instrument and i can pick it up. Ive played Tenor Horn for the Chethams Symphony Orchestra (many years ago) and then professionally for the Hallé Symphony. Then for many years i was a session guitarist and gigged with bands for fun. Nowadays its only guitars :)

Well AFF here will cost me £1200 without consols of course, if it's around £800 in Italy it's worth the hassle otherwise if you put the ferry ride/accomodation/etc. it will come up same price pretty much.

But yeah I was going for raps then realised that I will spent more money going to the dz than jumping so...

There are loudspeakers on their c130s playing Wagner.

TA DA DA TA TA TA TA DA TA TA TA TA DA TA TA TA!

All the Hercs are broke, we fight from Skyvans nowadays, a Transit van with wings into battle.
Wagner is for the Falkland Vets, today we go into battle listening to Pete Tong
