Well we've had the 2013 threads for the various types so I think an overall looking forward (but not going to risk a pre-order) thread is in order.

What are your most anticipated games for 2014?
What are you looking forward to and why?



For me I think Galactic Civilisations III will be the title I will buy shortly after release when reviews arrive. I loved the depth of strategy available in Gal Civ II, and hope they improve it further with the third incarnation.
 
Dark Souls 2. Nothing else matters.

Assuming the PC version won't be another copy/paste Xbox port.
 
Probably Thief. I can't think / not aware of anything else.

Oh yeah, add Watch Dogs and The Division to my short list. :)

Thief nothing else interests me atm I just hope they don't screw it up. 2013 was a huge disappointment for me after X Stillbirth was released waited years for that game only to be disappointed.
 
I don't think MMOs are for me anymore, got to level 12 and was bored out of my mind. Too many years on wow have burnt me out I think :(

2. Ultra Street Fighter 4
3. The Division
4. Watchdogs
5. Call of Duty 2014 - because Treyarch are doing the next one obviously, and Black Ops 2 was awesome
