For someone with very little to no knowledge of coding, and wanting to get into web dev (so html, css, javascript mainly), I'm seeing many bootcamps online, that often offer refunds if job not secured in x amount of time for graduates.

I know many can self learn, but sometimes it's knowing WHAT to learn (to get a job) when you have no prior experience, that is the problem.

Anyone got any experience with bootcamps? (Or what are your general tips for someone getting a job in this industry from scratch).

Thanks for any replies.

At the risk of starting an argument is using HTML and css coding, its certainly not programming. Javascipt definitely is. But to me coding is something like php with a logical structural nature to it. You can learn how to use HTML and css from a book, there's no logic involved

Web Developer or Web Designer. :p

Developer more into the actual code behind the site and some front end work, designer more into the UI/making it pretty.

No idea on the bootcamp stuff, have always been a developer! Find the area you like working with the most and learn that imo.
