Thought it would be interesting to see everyone's different taste and to see if we have any similar collectors on here.

To start me and the wife love Doug Hyde. Having only owned a house and lived together for 3 years we have a small collection due to financial commitments in other avenues but slowly growing (excuse the dust!!):

Turns into this:

Going to get it framed in the same frame as this one:

I really want some nice big landscape pictures/canvases for my walls. I don't know why, I just like landscapes the best :)

Not got anything yet but planning to look at getting a few pictures in, really helps make a home feel like home!

I have a couple of Kerry Darlington originals plus a small Neil Dawson pastel and oil original with a mix of prints dotted around the house by A J Hateley.

Marc Allante

Need to order some prints or a canvass for one of my walls.
Red Trujillo's line drawings.

Pixel Art

I have this by JimmySomething

TV/Film/Game related art/posters that aren't immediately obvious:

I have the two sets (8/10) of Firefly posters from https://store.qmxonline.com/

Haven't put anything up yet though as I'm struggling to find frames that I like. Any tips?

It looks stunning :)

Gave it to the wife for our first wedding anniversary. She's a massive Columbo fan

I very nearly bought a Rolf Harris last year. Still can't decide if I had a lucky escape or a missed opportunity.

Was once offered a lovely piece by an Indian artist called Raza. It was £2k and I couldn't afford it. Pity because six years later a mate working for Christies sold one for £250k. Gutted doesn't come close.

Anyway, here are some of my pictures, sorry for the bad photos:

Only artwork I have up in my house are prints of these, both by Jef Bertels. He does the artwork for all the Ayreon albums and once I found his original work I fell in love with it, something about the style hits me just right.

We recently bought our first piece of original art by a Lincolnshire painter called Glynne James. We have seen other pieces we're interested in but still making our minds up.
