I cant get that with the latest cpu-z. When did cpu-z start labelling JEDEC and EPP standards?

I get the same JEDEC and EPP readings on my ballistix pc6400 C4. Currently running at 1000Mhz, 5-5-5-12 with 2.2 volts.

But i believe the ballistix range are all pretty much the same ram. the pc5300 is C3, pc6400 is C4, and the pc8500 is C5. The looser timings allows for faster speeds.

anyone got ballistix they can do ss of cpuz on as im gonan sell these but dunno what they are

I'd say it was the pc6400 C4 version. But if you can change the timings to 4-4-4-12 set voltage to 2.2 and make sure it runs well past 800Mhz, then try 5-5-5-18 at 2.2 and go for over 1066Mhz. At least then you can state that the ram will run at these speed when selling it.

Every stick of ballistix i have had (and there's been quite a few!) have not had a sticker stating it's stock speeds/timing... there have however been stickers with a batch and part number...

Part number being 72953 on all 10 sticks of pc5300 i have here.

The other puzzling things is that pc2-6400 ram has a 1000mhz setting. Why?

Here you go, this is for my 2 x Ballistix 6400 1Gb modules, what you now need is somebody with 5300 and 8500 to post theirs:
