what best processor i can get for my Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

I'd try and pick up a sandy, wish I'd done the same, instead I jumped on a 3570K when they were £150 and found you can't raise the multi so you're stuck @3.6GHz max when 4 cores are loaded. :(

There is a UEFI bios which I haven't tried yet but from what I've read it's a bit beta, apparently it does allow you to select higher multis but there's no voltage control (not great considering voltage is biggest ivy issue) plus other issues.

Gigabyte have well and truly stuffed Z68 users, normally they use an Award bios but these bodged up hybrid UEFI bios are AMI apparently, lots of disgruntled users over on TweakTown forums.
