got a small question with my rig

Spec :-
Winnie 3500 @ 2.55 (will do 2.63)
Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2PT @ 233 2.5-3-3-8 T1
x2 Raptor 74 Raid 0
X800XTPE OC to 575/575

How would it be better to run my CPU at its full potential or have ram running best it can with a slightly slow CPU speed?

put ram on divider e.g. 333mhz and lower multi to 10x and have bus at 260
and lower htmulti to 3x

80mhz more cpu is better than 100mhz less memory! :)

Personally I'd be looking at getting your cpu as fast as possible, unless the divider options on your motherboard are very limited you shouldn't have to drop the RAM speed by as much as 100mhz, that's crazy.

I'm assuming you currently have a 11x multiplier(?) with a HTT of 233, but the cpu can handle 239 or 240? How about using a 9/10 divider (180mhz) on the RAM which would put your ram at 216mhz? You might even be able to tighten the timings up a little!

Basically on hte A64 platform having to drop your memory FSB isn't a total disaster because you can usually compensate with timings.

Well i put the RAM onto a 183 divider and pushed the CPU upto 2.63 looks about as high as i can get it
