I have recently had a couple of RAM problems due to me being a noob and not setting it up in BIOS properly. Now I am concerned that I am not utilising my MB to its fullest.

Can someone help a noob/slightly confused person with what BIOS settings I should be using - everything apart from RAM is on AUTO. I am not overclocking yet.

RAM is set at 800Mhz, 2.1V and 4.4.4.12 (don't really understand the timings and what they do for me but I changed it to these settings after reading another thread)

I have an Asus P5B Deluxe, Geil 2Gb(2x1Gb), PC6400 Ram, a HIS 1900XT 512Mb Graphics card.

Any guidence would be much appreciated and easy on the techno babble - I'm still learning!! :p

In bios just make sure its set to DDR-2 800mhz and voltage to (whatever is on the gell site recommended for that ram) and you can set ram timings to what it says on the site too mine automatically did it for me tho..

Thanks but what about the other settings in the BIOS, other than the RAM?
