Hi Guys..

Just purchased a Q6600 and I currently have the Asub P5B Deluxe Wi-Fi motherboard with 2 gig of Crucial Ballistix 8500 memory...

I was looking at the Gigabyte P35-DS4 motherboard as a new replacement for the P5B as this has the P35 chipset and the Asus has the 645.

Ive been tolds by the sales assistant behind the counter at OCUK that he would go for the Asus one for Core 2 Duo and the P35-DS4 for the quad core.

I can sell my asus board to my m8 so it would only cost me £40'ish to upgrade to a newer board.

Would I be better off doing this or would I be better off just keeping the P5B??

Thanks

P.S Forgot to say I will be overclocking it a little as well but not too Much.

P.P.S Also I've been told that there is no way of changing your memory timings on the P35-DS4 board unlike the P5B.. Is this trued or not???

Cheers For Any Info On This Dilemma...

As I have just said in your other post you can change the memory timings on the P35-DS4.

It's a good board. Not sure if it's worth £18 more than the P35-DS3P tho.
