right, so i made a thread a while ago about reading books, and ive just finished 1984. now, i have a dilema which book to get next out of the list below?

The Illuminatus Trilogy
Choke/Invisible Montsters/lullaby/Haunted/Non-Fiction/Survior
Angels and Demons/DVC/Digital Fortress
American Psycho
Battle Royale
A Scanner Darkly
The Catcher in the Rye

help!

James and the Giant Peach rocked my world!

you should try it sometime!!!

the Twits are cool also...

Roald Dahl eh... gotta love 'im

Ben Mezrich - Bringing Down The House (Real Life story)
Mick Foley - Tietam Brown (Family Drama)
Vince Flynn - Seperation of Power (Iraq War)

Those 3 are truly enjoyable. Thought I'd list 3 that were different. Preferred all 3 over The DaVinci Code, but thats a good read too.

Im just about to start reading 'The last kingdom' by Bernard Cornwell, looks quite interesting, i suppose it comes down to what your interested in though...

From those I have read:

Survior
American Psycho
The Catcher in the Rye

American Psycho is superb, disturbing and a must read. Much better than the film.
Catcher in the Rye is just one of those books. People Study it all the time. It's a bit slow going in places but good all the same

Palahniuk is just a great writer. Survivor is one of his better ones.

A Scanner Darkly must be near the top too - anything I've have read by PKD is just superb. Not read this one yet...
