What browser is superior?

Problem with 64-bit browsers is the lack of plugins, most noticably flash.

Personally, I run Firefox because it has extensions that none of the other browsers have.

I use IE8 because its the most secure. Firefox's main advantage is it's addons. Opera is pretty good as well. Not really sure why people use chrome. But its all a matter of preference

I use pretty much every major browser out there :p
(it's kind of part of my job to do so)

I prefer Opera the most and that is what I use at home in combination with Chrome and IE8.

Was a die hard Opera user for awhile. But it didnt comply very well with a lot of sites. So switched to FF and used that for a few years.

Now after a period of Chrome+ I now just use Chrome. It does everything I will of it with a nice large sized browsing screen. The bookmark manager lacks a little, but I kept my FF bookmarks and Chrome took the bookmark bar right up. Would be nice to drag and drop bookmarks to the bar, but its easy to bookmark straight to it.

most of the sites that were incompatible with opera just a couple of months ago now all work fine.

Just thought you might like to know.

Gob smacked. Why?

I cannot seriously understand why anyone would use IE if they knew others existed...

:eek:;):cool::):confused::p

well for 1 thing it does everything i need a browser to do, so i don't see the need to install others and as for the others being more secure in all the years that i have used IE not one of those so call security holes has affected me and probably never will as there blow out of proportion, the clue is in the line were they say "could be a problem" and not everyone that uses IE well have a problem

Mozilla have dropped the ball with FF4 imo. It's decided to put tabs on top and have a non-traditional menu bar by default, if you change it around the menu looks very ugly, yet it's the only way to make it functional. Much prefer 3.5.

I moved from IE to Firefox, then to Opera when FF had it's famed memory leaks a while back. I've not really bothered to move back. Opera does what I want and very quickly. Flash is sometimes an ass but it's a browser and I can always go back onto IE.

Only for people who don't like tabs on top, which imo, is the most logical layout anyway!

It's easy to manage by group policy :p

I've used Firefox since its beta but moved over to chrome about a year ago and haven't looked back

Technically, Chrome, but I personally use FF on a daily basis and switch to Chrome when I need to see webkit stuff.
