Hey guys.

I am on my last hurdle of creating my very first custom PC however, I'm stuck on a case!

I had a limit of £450 to get decent parts - which I did - but I did leave rather little for the case...

What case can you recommend around the £30-£40 mark? (or around the £50-£60 if a PSU is included)

I would like it to:
*Have good airflow (I don't want it to overheat when playing games, a pretty good graphics card is slapped in there)
*Have a toolless design (since I lack tools)
*Looks pretty nice

It also needs room:
For 1 HDD
1 SSD in the near future
Optical Drive
A fairly big GPU (It's not one of them retardly massive ones though)

My main piority is the air flow. The last thing I want is for it to overheat when playing high demanding games. The case size I am looking at is the ATX Mid tower.

Thank you all for your help.

Seriously though, 30-40 quid is bearly enough for a basic case letalone a PSU.
I'm sure most people will give you the same responce regarding the PSU.
"NEVER SKIMP ON THE PSU"

Its the heart of your machine.
The end of probblems you will get from a cheep crappy PSU is just not worth even considering.

Id suggest at a minnumim you spend a little extra and go for the following:
Corsair Builder Series CX 430W V2 '80 Plus' Power Supply
Xigmatek Asgard Pro Gaming Case

Total = £69.98

But you wont end up with a PSU that will potentialy explode in your face and kill all your kit.
And a fairly good, if not basic case to start off with.
The good thing about the case is it has plenty of cooling potential if you add extra fans later on.

Thanks for the case link. It was the sort of thing I was looking for.

Sorry if I phrased my question wrong. I ment £30-£40 for the case or £50-£60 with a PSU bundle. If the case costed £30-£40 I would have got a Corsair PSU.

Once again sorry. Dyslexias a pain^^

What Graphics card are you getting? Makes a difference to the PSU you need...

If you could stretch to it I'd get a Bitfenix Shinobi or the Zalman Z9, or the Xigmatek Asgard would do.

Just stay away from the no name PSU's and you will be ok.
Trust me I've seen some horror storys in my time

Note that most cheap cases only have one fan supplied. Some lack dust filters.

Off the lot, I would check out the shinobi and the 300D. Proper cases. More expensive, sure. You can get a Shinobi Core, and customise it later, with an extra fan, and bitfenix strips and badge.

The cheapest I would go for would be the Bitfenix Merc. Needs an extra fan. Asgard pro as well, but lacks dust filters.

As for tools, you only need a hex screwdriver.

Added a decent PSU.
