Okay ive got 2 builds here
what one is better to game on max settings some of you may say swap this with this but if you do also can you tell me what 1 is better build out of the 2 aswell thanks :)

Build1:
CPU: AMD A8-6600K
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A75M-D3H FM2
Ram: 8GB Geil DDR3 PC3-10666 1300MHz
GPU: 2x MSI Radeon r9 280X 3GB

Build2:
CPU: I5 3570K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-277X-UD3H
Ram: 16GB G.SKILL Ripjawsx
GPU: Amd 7970 3GB

I'd say it depends on what resolution you'd be gaming at. If it's 1080p then no need for 2 x 280X, one will be more than enough. The RAM from build one is crap though.

In fact, just add a 280X to build 2, reduce the RAM to 8gb and be done with it

Fine for what? As a budget APU it is a fine CPU. For a high end gaming PC it is not fine, merely 'acceptable'

Out of the components listed I'd pick the i5 + mobo, 8gb G.Skill RAM and one 280X

but the cpu in build 1 with all both graphics card and ram could run games 60+ fps in ultra settings on all games no?

No. The CPU will bottleneck the 2 x 280s. The CPU is awful for gaming compared to the i5.

In fact I feel this thread may have navigated into a spec'ing cul-de-sac. Someone else may need to jump in because I'm starting to repeat myself
