i'd look at the lenovo thinkpad's also.

i used to have a thinkpad R61i and once knocked it of a desk by accident and it fell about 3 feet and crashed down on its edge and when i picked it up it was still running as if nothing had happened. very sturdy reliable machines.

Anything really. For bus, they all run office pretty well, unless its a celeron or sempron... spit spit.
