I'm about to get myself a ATi 2900 XT and would like to overclock my e6300 instead of buying a new processor but i'm unsure as to what motherboard to go for to do this.

I'm currently using 2GB of GSkill RAM but have a crappy £50 ASRock board so I can see myself getting any good results with that board.

Looking to spend around £100 willing to spend over that if needed but the lower the better.

Thanks.

Looks good, won't need to IDE sockets as I plan to actually use the 250GB Sata II drive I bought with the C2D but never used ><

Yeah the Gigabyte boards sound very good and Ive been researching the P35 boards for about a month now and 2 mins ago ordered myself a DS3P :D

tbh all the abit, Asus & Gigabyte P35 mobos seem to be pretty decent so just pick the 1 that best suits your needs in terms of features/layout/budget etc..
