what cable do i need to use xbox 360 on a pc TFT?

What you want is the official VGA cable, you'll need separate speakers obviously. I've heard that third party brands tend to give poorer quality however I've not used one so I can't really comment apart from saying that my official cable is top notch.

Does it have DVI? Does the 360 have HDMI? I expect that would be better than VGA. You need a HDMI to DVI cable, but then there's the issue of sound, you could just use the optical mod for the standard cable that comes with the 360.

The Xbox needs a HDMI port if you want to use the DVI on the monitor.
ok vga it is, i take it my samsung will have dvi and vga?

Or if it is just DVI, it will be DVI-I which carries analog and digital, so you will need a DVI-I plug to VGA socket converter to stick on the end of the VGA cable.
