What cable do i need

hi all,bit of a noobs question,could someone please tell me what cable i need to go from my macbook to my lcd tv?
Also,am i right in assuming that if i got the correct cable i could watch stuff via my macbook on my tv!

s-video,vga,and yuv are the only spare ones

vga would prob be best then. You'll need a dvi to vga dongle for your macbook and then a vga cable to go to your tv.

there is a mini DVI to VGA or mini DVI to SVideo/Composite and even mini DVI to DVI. THe first two should cover you are are available each for £15.
