The video signal is identical in both DVI and HDMI (no quality difference). HDMI has the added benefit of sending sound, but is the monitor your only audio output device you have?
Also, are you watching Blurays via the computer, or a stand-alone player? I'm assuming via computer, as haven't heard of stand-alone players having DVI. Therefore, you should first check if the DVI-D even has HDCP support. If it doesn't then HDMI is the only way to go, in any case.
Actually, maybe you should check the manual and see which one they recommend...? They state these kind of things quite often in the manual. It might be you don't actually even have but one choice, if you want 3D (manufacturers sometimes limit the 3D to only one connection port).
