hi there,
im looking to buy a 15m cable to bring the router into my room,
it doesnt seem to be the normal size cable, but a smaller size wire and connecter ???

can anyone tell me what cable type i need or link me to one on ocuk ??

many thanks, James

As far as i am aware using a long rj11 cable decreases your speeds. I may have heard wrong however and have never had an adsl connection.

simple way to do it is have the router near socket then run 1 cat5 to the room if you need more sockets then buy a switch for this setup you will pay about £10 for 15m cable/switch

well i want to put the router in my room as it has 4 ports on the back and i want to network 2 pc's and my ps3.

That is what I stated you have the router next to phone socket then you run a network cable from that router to the room you have your other equipment which connects to a 5 port switch.

overclockers is out of stock on the cheap switches but if you look at other places you can pick up 5 port switch/15m cat5 cable and 3 2m cat5 cables for under £15.
