What can I clean my CPU with?

For cleaning believe it or not, I used a spray designed to be applied to sprains. It's 100% denatured alcohol, so thought it would do the job!

I use Alcohol Sanitary wipes, they are for wiping dust masks, ear defenders etc. Got them from work, come in little packets with one wipe in each. Works well.

Isopropyl alcohol fan here, but it's not that important, as long as whatever you use doesn't contain fragrences or leave residue.

I just used kitchen towel to remove the old paste. worked very well.

So did i. No need for anything else.

I always use professional-strength nail polish remover. It's really just 99.8% acetone and .02% denatonium

Professional-strength eh, is that from the weekends?

The Arctic Freezer 7 comes with MX-1 paste pre-applied as a pad I believe.

As for how I clean CPUs, whenever it has needed done it has been kitchen roll and elbow grease although some form of alcohol based solution would be easier.
