Hey 8 Pack.

Currently running a SAPPHIRE HD 6950 2GB OC

Standard clock speeds are

820 on the core
1250 on the mem

I think its a great card, gaming all day long and it holds it temp around 50/55C ( fans at 60% )

but like all things in the PC world more is always nice :D

I've read all about flashing the 6950's -> 6970 but that could be beyond me at the min and I'd like to see what I can do with it the way it is first.

Rest of my system is

i5 3570k @4.2
MSI Z77A-GD65
8GB RAM
Corsair HX+ 750w

Any help would be more than welcome.

Download Saphhire Trix overclocking utility which is teh best one for your card.

Slowly increase the clocks on GPU first until it becomes unstable when stressed then add voltage. Stress the GPU at each increase by using your games and Unigine. Dont go above 1.2v. Then clock the gpu memory in a similar way. If you find you need to add loads of voltage to get any clock stable back of to the last good clock.

For benching crank up the fans to full all the time to get abit more from the cards.
