What can I do with a macbook air with broken screen.

I've got my sisters old macbook air, it powers on and displays via the mini hdmi port to the TV.

Its not going to be cost effective to replace the screen as the housing was stepped on and bent past the mechanical limit.

Could I use it for anything productive or should I just ebay it for scrap.

You could use it as a desktop outputting display to the TV and/or a Monitor with and run it in Clamshell mode.
