what can i expect from 4 gigs of ram?

what can i expect from 4 gigs of ram? just ordered 2 more gigs of Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit how would it increase the performance ? that i have already?

Its good and provides all the headroom you need for OC'ing. You get +0.1 in Memory Performance for running it CAS4 in Windows Vista Experience Scores..

eeeee research good sir research !! you will need a 64 bit OS to access all 4gb of ram, XP 32bit does not, it will only show as ~ 3.25gb of ram

Tho be sure that you can find x64 XP drivers for all your hardware before getting it.

Yep it will work fine.

Just be aware though, if your looking at getting 4x 1GB Memory sticks, depending on the motherboard chipset you have, probelms may arise.

That will be fine then, enjoy. Seriously consider Vista 64bit though, if your not so keen about Vista then think about Dual Booting along with your XP install.
