What can I SLI with this?

I have an OcUK (Galaxy) 7900GT and want to run another card with it. Mobo is SLI so when I bought I thought all I had to do was buy another, but they are gone.


Can I SLI a 7900GS with it or a 7950 GT or do I have to search for a 7900GT.

Finally if I could and did SLI a GS with it would it be worth while.

Your help to this confused, long time noob appreciated

i am not certain about this but i believe you can SLI any 7900 range card and the SLI system will downclock to the card with the slowest values. personally i would just stick to what you already have, another 7900GT.

Can only be paired with another 7900 GT im afraid.

best to stick with another 7900gt since thats your only option, if sli-ing with other cards was possible then no one would be posting about bios flashing the 7900gto to gtx.

They all just vanished.

Ok how about sell 7900gt and get 2x 7900gs and clock them - better or worse.

Sorry to bang on but have an SLI board in my PC and would like to use it - yes and before you say it - don't have cash for 2x new 7950's

There is a leadtek 7900GT on OCUK for £164, this should sli fine with your card if you find the price acceptable.
