What can I upgrade on this ?

Well quite frankly, you could upgrade everything. Apart from the OS, everything can be updated. The question is what should you upgrade and that depends on what you want to do with your machine. :) Letting us know that and how much you would be willing to spend to achieve that would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply, I use the computer for Gaming and also photography so its mainly that area that I would be looking at. Budget wise I am not sure something to make it run at speed etc.

depending on your power supply which id imagine to be good to run a 580 unless a cheap brand then a gpu upgrade would be your first and best option if on a strict budget, the 2500k might be getting on a bit now, but a 500 series nvidia is only supported via legacy drivers now pretty much, so your going to struggle if you game.

GPU first, then CPU (i7-2600/2600K), then more RAM (but only if you see it maxing out the present 8GB). Other than that maybe a bigger SSD for OS and programs. I wonder if part of the "run at speed" request has to do with some programs installed on mech drive instead of SSD? Can you elaborate on what doesn't feel fast enough? Is it just when gaming, or general snappiness not up to par or other?
