I mean performance wise these new chips have been quite impressing in the reviews matching up to the likes of a 980x, so whenh the higher end chips come out, what sort of performance do you think we can expect, how many cores will intel go up to and how fast will the clock speeds go, how much do you guys estimate they will sell for and will there be an extortionate price to pay for the highest end chip again (no doubt there will)

tbh. because they midrange chips have come out first. im not so sure thy are gona be a massive amount faster than the current SB chips. it does seem odd that they wouldnt release the flagship cpus first although perhaps there is development issues.
perhaps a hex core cpu with a quad channel memory controller thats my guess but im probably wrong! i still think they are gonna cost around £400+ tho.
this is where if amd can get bulldozer right with near performance at around half the cost, intel might have some serious competition.
