hi guys i need to sale my focus rs it got broke into again lat night so i need to px or sale would car would u get needs to be sport but not stand out etc i have the money from the px and £1500 any ideas
 
I think your going to need to give people a bit more information than that. There are a million cars that could fit that criteria.

Define "Sport"?

Are you looking for another focus sized car? bigger? smaller? are you even looking for a hatch? how many people do you need to carry? is fuel economy an issue? The list goes on.

How much are you expecting to get for your rs? I think they are mainly going for between 11 and 16k now, is this right?

Well the new focus ST is a 3 door focus sized car :p

Is your primary reason for sale, the fact that the RS was getting broken in to? If so im sure a focus ST or any similar car would also be a target. Plus I wouldnt want to let theives dictate what car I could or couldnt have.
 
Just about anything 3 door focus sized which is sporty looks erm sporty so it will prolly be broken into as well sounds like someone has a problem with you not the car.
 
its kids they broke into the house about a month a go just for the car keys but they could not start it but they still had my keys. so i got all the locks done and reprogrammed but it looks like the 2nd Aralm was not reprogrammed thats how they opened the door . just had that Aralm taken out and a new viper 480v cat 1 been fitted tommorow but its the thought of them coming back they can not take the car because i use the bluefin to immolates every thing

If it is parked right outside your window and you dont wake up whilst they broke into it...man, you must sleep like a log. Perhaps you should install a proximity (sp?) sensor on the car.
 
Tbh there are plenty of options, such as

Proxy sensor on car as said
PIR lights outside house
thick/heavy rain cover (and if anyone trys to pull it off your alarm with go off)
cameras

Ah I remeber that now. Is there anything that you could do in order to make your drive more secure, put one of those removable posts infront of the car or anything like that?

I can fully understand your reason for sale, but I would be very reluctant to sell the car on that basis, which is in some ways letting them win. That said, if you have a family and there is a risk of people breaking in to your house for the keys, then its not worth it.

Even after selling it though, your going to have a pretty desirable car still. Obviously there is no way to know if these people were just after the RS or if any similar car is their thing. Its happened quite a few times in my road over the lst 2 years, one car was a 325CI, the rest were average family cars, a focus, an s40 and the list goes on.
