What card ££100-130

been running a clocked up 9800pro for a while and and given up and died


been out the game for a while so i dont know whats worth what and what good cards are at the mo

i dont mind ati or nvidia

so just after the fastest/best card for my money, also dont mind where it comes from cheers

I assume you are using AGP? Well I think you can get a 6800gs for not much more than £130. In fact the BFG one (which has faster clocks as standard) is only about £130 this week including VAT. That's a bargain and you probably won't find better. You might get tempted by the X1600pro but it's barely a grade higher than your old 9800pro ands certainly not worth even £100.

You most certainly won't find a 6800 GS anywhere near that prices, especially one with lifetime warranty and with higher clock speeds.
Yes the 6800 GS is a good deal faster than 9800 Pro's?/X1600's.

Have to agree, the 6800 GS would be a good boost up from your 9800pro, and thats a cracking price for it.

I should think less, I could easily be wrong though. Doesn't the 6800GS use a smaller fabrication process than the 9800 Pro *and* the 6800GT?

OcUK's is a 256MB with 256-bit version, basically top performance!
