Okay, so, for my next upgrade I think it should be my gfx card. I am very into live streaming which is a very taxing thing to do in regards to pc power Here are my specs:

ATI HD 7850 TWIN FROZR III 2GB OC EDITION
i5 3570k 3.40GHz
GIGABYTE Z33-D3H
8gb HyperX 1600 MHz RAM
Antec 500W PSU

Budget no more than £230

Would you even see that much of a performance increase if you upgraded from say, a 7850 to a 7950, with the price justified?

From what I read, currently the 7850 is the dogs ******** for under £200. Can't comment on crossfire as I have never done it.

If you oc'd the 7850 you could achieve 7950 performance but then you can oc the 7950 so the cycle begins again.......

Personally if i was the OP i wouldnt bother upgrading just yet, i mean unless its struggling to play games at a reasonable fps i dont think a £230 graphics upgrade will bring anymore joy to his life, but like i said inmy previous post, add another 7850 and it will be quite a capable machine.

My gf has the 7850 with relatively mid range system (Toms Hardware reccommended 500$ build, G860 CPU, Z77 Gigabyte mobo, 8gb DRR3 1666mhz kingston hyperx) and runs everything fine at ultra 1920x1080, so far never seen any game that it can't run on ultra/high, I honestly don't think an upgrade is justified at this time. But that's my rather inexperienced opinion, I've fell way behind in tech in recent years :D

Wait for the 8### series GPU's, the 7850 is the perfect balance for 1080P right now

Egh thanks for the comments guys, perhaps waiting or crossfire will be the best decision.

I can barely run the game ARMA II, let alone stream it.

Forgot to mention I'm an avid streamer..i'll edit the first post

Arma2 is indeed CPU dependent, you could have 3x GTX 690's in SLI and an i5 3570K overclocked to 4.6Ghz and still only average 50 FPS, occasionally dropping to the low 30's.

It's an absolutely horrendous pile of junk of a game engine, (sorry Arma2 fans)
