What card for 1024 x 768?

A mate has just got given a pc, and wants to do a bit of light gaming on a shoestring budget.

Its AGP, should i be looking for something like a 9800pro or will something lower do the job?

Rest of the spec is..

2.5ghz celeron
1gb ram

Any ideas people?

Ahh ok its not agp! its only got pci slots, how backwards is that!

you still get cards, but week for todays games, 5200 i thinkk and 9200 from ATI were close to last for PCI

x1950pro is a good idea. may even run crysis at 1024x768
