I've got a new machine at work and it only has a ati7200 on board card. What can I upgraded it too with out blowing the 250w psu!!!!

Thanks

also depends whats in ur system rly, if its a dual core then ye a 4000 series low card would do (4600?)
also depends on what sockets u have available.

think ive got an old pci geforce 3 lying around that would work in it lol. (im not trying to sell it here, its just a joke so no banny ban plx)

You will be limited by what you can buy in PCI if its a PCI and not a PCI-E slot. Out of interest, why do youw ant to upgrade your work pc's graphics card?

I'm self employed and it's the computer I have in my office.

As for pci e how do I check the computer is a Acer vertiton m220

Depends on the PSU quality really, I have an HD4890 running from my 300w Silverstone without issues.

Also, check with "office PCs" if they need a half height card too.

a decent graphics card, plus the existing setup (plus a few hard disks and peripherals), on a 250w PSU might be pushing it into an inefficient power usage range (i.e. 90%+ potentially).

It's a full size case , but as for quality of power supply it's stock acer so who knows
