Hi all, Currently running a 8800GTS Alpha dog Ed, wanting to upgrade with a budget of around £170. Will i see much difference with an upgrade or shall i keep my monies and save for something a bit more worthwhile?

Specs: Win XP pro 32Bit, Asus M3A32/MVP, XFX 8800GTS, 4GB 800mhz OCZ Platinum, AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+.

Cheers all.

Iam running an XFX 8800GTS Alpha dog, Playing Crysis in 1024x768 ( desktop runs in 1680x1050 if that helps ) on high settings, looks good but feel it could be better. Also O/T but why does the scenery build up when moving forward? is this CPU? or GPU? Any help much appreciated.

Cheers all.

scenery build up is down to the post processing setting ( I think)
to be honest a 4870 fits the bill perfectly for what you want, but crysis is slightly nvidia optimized. :(
