I've got an XFX 7800GTX 256MB card in my machine, but I'm struggling to work out exactly what version it is.
According to Powerstrip, my card is running at default speeds of 475/1250, but looking on the XFX website no such card exists. They have their standard 7800GTX which is clocked at 450/1250 and their "OC" version which is clocked at 490/1300.
The box for mine does have an "Extreme Edition" logo on it but when I search the 'net all I can find is reference to an "Extreme Gamer Edition" which appears to be clocked at 490/1300, i.e. the same as the "OC" version above.
So what on earth have I got? Before you all laugh at my for buying something when I didn't know what it was, I actually won it in a raffle.
I'd also like to know what would happen if I SLI'd it with another XFX 7800GTX (or indeed other make) which had lower or higher clocks, would the faster card automatically slow down to the speed of the slower one or would I have problems and need to find another card of the same speeds?
