what card is better?

One card was not enough for me at 1920x1080, but I like all my settings cranked up to the max if possible, whilst retaining a solid 60 FPS.

If you are not so fussed about getting maximum settings/FPS then don't bother.

out the three what one shud i get and dnt just say the cheapest because there at diff prices for a reason so if u can justify out the three cards whats the diffs id be much grafull for that info or any thing that my narrow my choice down

this is 4 u again overslop i cuddnt help lookin at ure spec did u buy the cpu,mb,and ram on here as a bundle?. because heres a gd i7 bundle its the i7 *OVERCLOCKED* Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz @ 4.00GHz Max / Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Intel X58 Motherboard / Patriot Viper 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz DDR3 Bundle

and i fink the xfx 4890's sound a gd chioce i wnt be furture proofed no one can be not in the gaming world but it will see me through the next few years without having to download config files and overclocking my pc to get the games to run.

i fank u guys 4 help me ive been on many fourms trying to get advice i fink its my own personal choice at the end of the day. and budget wise, with 600pounds gettin a i7 system with 2 4890's is impossible maybe for like 800 pound but i cant see my self saving 800 pounds :( whats better gettin that amd3 dual core system with 2 4890's or having that i7 bundle setup (shown above) and just have 1 4890 too keep in my 600 pound budget what wud u have?

I bought all my parts seperately to get the best price (some were second-hand). But it's a good deal on offer right now at OcUK and I can recommend it.

You could get a X58 system and one card, then add another later. If you did that, then I'd recommend a GTX 260 over a 4890. 2 of those would end up a fair bit cheaper than 2 4890s and offer close performance. They overclock like crazy, just like the 4890s do as well. But that's also down to my preference to nVidia over ATi. I just don't like the ATi CCC, and game profiles in the nVidia CP are really handy.

And no worries, these places are designed to help each other out. ;)

coupe69 has a point though. The way you type doesn't bother me personally, but many people will refuse to help out unless you conform to 'netiquette'.

ohh rite sorry my spelling not very good or up 2 your standards lol. ill try be more clear 4 now on :). and well this is wot i don't understand y is it most Nivida cards uses gddr3 technology on them ram and have lower clock speed than ATI cards and how comes ATI cards uses gddr5 ram and have higher core speed and higher ram speed etc but at lower prices i just dont get it?. u would think ATI cards would technically be better of course lets not get into a full blow argument over Nivida and ATI that's the last thing i need right now. Ive only been in the gaming world for a few years now and Ive only really known a little on how much graphics cards differ from one another u see. Ive always wanted a Nivida system but the thing is its going be too expensive. 600 pound on a Intel system with an Nivida chip set and have a good Nivida card will defiantly cost me over 600 pound i know it will specially the one i got in mind above ?
