One thing is for sure, it's not a 1060 :cool:
 
No idea what chip it actually is as there are no 192/24/12 parts, although as above gts450 is probably closest based on clock speeds
 
By editing the BIOS what fields can you change? Clearly you can change the name, model but that about PCI interface, bandwidth?
 
Was asked to see why a friend's new gaming pc was slower than his laptop

I'm seeing quite a bit of this around. This looks properly cheeky though, did you get a look at the card itself? Should be really easy to spot that a 1060 is not a 1060.
 
Hopefully not the OP, but anyone want to identify this one currently listed as a 1060 3gb that "Boots fine to desktop but low frame rate with games without however artifacts."

The middle output is a 15 pin DSUB. Something from the 500 range maybe.

It's 100% an Nvidia China number one edition card.
