hi all,
im looking at playing a lot of games and as a result im building a new machine. but what graphics card should i buy?

i have an assus formula III maximus and a i7 2.8 Ghz cpu....

im looking at spending £360 on 1 single graphics card but will be buy 2 of them to either run sli or crossfire...

any comments would be most greatful.

but they have like 700meg of ram less that some of the other ones...

should i buy on the basis that the higher the clock speed the better? or the more ram the better?

When comparing nvidia and ati its pointless comparing memory and clock speeds, as the card with the higher values isn't necessarily the better one.

If money is no option then it seems like the 295 is still the best choice but, for the price it's debatable if the performane benefit over a oc'd 5850 is worthwhile.
