what card should i get?

What res do you game at? if its below 1680x1050 then an 8800GTS 320 will be a good choice, but I would hold on for new cards like the 8800GT and 112SP 8800GTS and maybe to see what the 2950Pro will be if it will turn out to be an ok card.

thanks :D i bet tomorrow cant come quick enough for you, do you know if our psu has the correct connectors for this card? i only just found out that it needs to run off 2 power plugs instead of one but im pretty sure that when i fitted my psu it only had one with the kind of connector that goes in to the card

Lol it couldn't and a 2:30PM arrival time .

No the PSU has only the 2 Sata power connectors. Also it's not up to the job sadly :(. I had three PC shut downs (total power off /blank/lifeless). Once on 3dmark06, once playing World in Conflict and then just browsing so I pulled it out. I'm getting a PSU tomorrow though.

What about this PSU for you Langlest?.

Corsair’s VX450W is a very solid mid-range power supply. We’re exceptionally pleased with its low-noise attributes, long sleeved cabling, and overall high-efficiency performance. As I write this, the VX450W is churning along, handling an overclocked quad-core Q6600 processor, along with a GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card and a couple of high-end hard drives, and is perfectly happy doing so. Most would think such hardware would require a 600W+ PSU to run properly, but that’s simply not the case. Corsair’s latest generation of power supplies handle such a task without sweating.

i think a modular one is the way to go for me as i hate having wires all over the place and it would be easier to install too i think :)

edit:
i think ill go for this one instead :P
