What card to get for COD Ghosts?

Hi,

I currently have an Asus ATI 5450 after my XFX ATI 6870 died a few months ago. I don't really get much time any more to play games so I'm after a budget card that will play COD:Ghosts at an OK resolution and graphics settings.

I'm not after running the game in 1080p I just want to be able to run the game and play smoothly.

I was looking at the ATI 7770 / nVidia 640

I would go for 770 Tbh if you have money for it + you get extra free games!

Around the £100 mark really. Not want anything special.

Can't go wrong with a 7770 or a 7790 imo.

You can get a 7850 for £120-130 with a couple of free games from AMD's Never Settle Forever scheme.

As above if you stretch your budget a bit you can get a slightly faster card.

With a budget of £100 or so i would seriously consider the R7 260X

You get 2gb memory and true audio.

There are some good cards on the members market also at the moment going cheap.

£100 is perfect second hand 7850 range. I reckon it will eat up COD @ 1920x1080 so will max your res out.

Ha yeah my bad, I had a quick look and saw some cracking cards.

And yes a second hand 7850 would be ideal and offer superb performance for £100 or so.

It matters if he can sell the games in order to bring the price of a more expensive card down to his budget.

something like a 6950, COD ghosts shouldn't be too taxing on both the cpu and gpu

I really wouldn't want to sell game codes on ebay though as without access to mm here that would seem to me the most likely place op would sell them.
