What size monitor do you have, and whats the current spec of your system?

Are you basically wanting to know whats the best on the market at the moment (budget being no problem) ?

right my screen is 1440x900 19" widescreen
and my system is
E6300 o/c to 3.3
xfi faitly
2gb ram 8500 OCZ sli
vista home prem 32.
i'll be upgrading my cpu and mobo as well to a wolfdale 8500 and not sure of mobo yet. yeah whats the best card at the moment (money no object)

For that resolution something like a 3870 or 8800GT will do fine. If you want to really improve your gaming experience I would recommend buying a larger monitor. I made the switch from 19 to 22'' awhile ago and it's well worth it.

The best card at the moment is the 9800GX2 but there are some other cards that are just around the corner. If I were you though, I would settle for getting a G8 512MB GTS.
