What Card to get?

Don't know why people still keeping recommending the 970.

They are still a decent card and some people prefer nvidia to AMD, so its always nice to give something from both sides. I've seen them go for about £120 as well. Some people are also concerned about heat and power to.
Personally I'd take the 290x over a 970 also, but there's no denying the 970 is a very popular capable card.

2nd hand 390x in my opinion.

It's literally the best buy for your money, also more longevity due to DX12.

Obviously if you can stretch beyond that, 480... But i'd still say 390x is the better option.

Thanks once again guys for all the advice, My PSU is an old corsair TX750W which has done me proud so far. This RX 470 sounds asif it could be the one, so I will wait abit until one of you guys has got the run-down on it after it comes out.

Saying all that. I have just got hold of another Asus GTX 460 so I am going to go SLI just for now. ( My first time ever.) So how will this inprove my system to run some newer games? ( I don't mean the latest ones though, call of duty black-ops etc.)

I don't use my 19" monitor at the mo, as I use my 32" TV which is at 1920x1080 res, as I watch a lot of skygo.:)
