I'm looking at putting a small (DVD size ish) PC in my lounge. It would be a basic but must be small and fit into a TV cabinet (open fronted)
I want a small case a bit like a standard sized VCR or DVD player which it will be replacing.

Due to the positioning, I want a unit which exhausts air out of the front of the case, not the back as the back of the cabinet has a central cutout for cables to allow air to be drawn in, but would cause lots of heat build up if heat was vented to this space.

So, I'm after a small HTPC case with forward ventilation ideally, anyone got any ideas?

This maybe?

Im not too sure i havnt ever gone with anything quite so small, im interested to here what people recomend but ocuk have a section in the cases purely for htpc's incase you hadnt noticed.

The one that caught my eye was this one

Hiper case

I'm looking for other options before committing to it!

As to budget, not to strict on this, about £500 or so. I want a 1TB HDD and a nice cool running processor. It'll be mainly used for TV recording, music, video etc. No heavy duty applications. It'll be used for a bit of iplayer, some youtube etc. Basic stuff. No need to get all expensive! Was think Vista 64 home premium to use remote, and media centre functions.
