Hey

Could someone please enlighten me to what this case is:

Any help would be appreciated as i think this case deserves to hold my new conroe rig. Soo simple and yet soo stylish :D

The top case is a champagne car coated side/top panel, anodised silver front panel Cooler Master 201

The second picture is an Anodised black Cooler Master Praetorian, essentially the same chassis, just with slightly cheaper materials ie thinner alu.

Both cases are now discontinued, there may still be some praetorians available new though i doubt it now, at least not in the UK.

Your only option is to go for a second hand case, if you can find one.

See my site www.atcscases.co.uk for details on all the old cooler master cases

thanks lads, and wow you now your coolermasters haribo :D

I don't suppose you know of any cases resembling the top pic out at the moment? THe thermaltake tsunami dream looks nice, plus i could mod it for a top blowhole, base inlet (for gfx), and it has a 120mm exhaust at the back. But it has a stupid door :S

Any recommendations on sleek cases ?

Cheers yewen you sexy beast !!!

Lol i was just looking at the pc-7 se just now :D

I like high quality materials and construction (being a mat eng student), and the lian-li cases have always appealed to me. I can see a 120mm fan at the back of yours, so is it the standard 7 or the 7 SE as i thought the 7 only had an 80mm fan.

I think you may have swayed me to fleece my wallet for one and a perspex sidepanel. I presume the perspex pc7 side panel will fit, or i could just cut my own window :D:D

OcUK sell the PC7+II usually, which is 120mm/120mm.

I would advise buying from OcUK as they may not list 120/120 but they seem to ship it for the last 12 months now!

Just search this section for everyones views on the case. It is literally a barebones no frills case, but it is built to an exceptionally high standard for a £55 case and the cooling is second to one. :)

Ahhh very nice, i found it elsewhere but it cost another £15 extra. Il shoot them a question checking that it's 120mm exhaust and check the forum.

cheers

Its a Coolermaster 201 ATCS Silver and Black widow chassis. They do not make them anymore. Closest you will get would be a Silverstone TJ04 and sidepanel. But they are secc not ally except for the front.

How about just getting from OcUK as its cheaper? :p

The risk of a 80mm is very, very, very, very low.

O RLY? :p

Ive shot them a message as i can't do with having an 80mm exhaust fan. I checked on the lian-li site and it says it's an 80mm fan :s

I just want to verify that then il spend my money :D

There is a OcUK PC7+ and PC7+II.

Due to the same box with some and past stock floating around a year ago, you can not guarantee which one you will get unless every one shipped is checked.

OcUK will say you will get 120/80 but your 100x more likely to get 120/120 from them. :)

The case in the Pictures I believe is a Coolermaster ATCS-201. Lovely case until they stopped making them.

And Yewen Is right about the Lian-li 7 PLUS lovely unit and exceptional value for money.

Ah cheers, plus i just noticed the thread at the bottom of the first page with 'PC7+ 120mm x2 ?', and everyone in there got a 120x2.

OK little question about the precut perspex side panel. Are the rivets permanent, or is there a screw on the inside facing outwards? Also how brittle do you think the perspex is as i want to cut a 92mm intake hole near the drivebays blowing air directly infront of where my new tuniq tower will be?

If you knew what you were doing with it then you could do it, as for removeable I do not think it is.

Its just the same as any window, as long as you know what you are doing you will be able to cut it.

Nope it's not skyline ;) the black case is most certainly not a widow : if you look closely you'll see the fornt says praetorian.

Also just noticed the Black prae actually has a painted window panel, when the prae were anodised black - looking closely you can see the mirror finish of the painted side panel does not extend to the top of the case were you can see the brushed anodised alu - did you notice that Yewen?

adfinni, i've emailed your trust address with a couple of options, though being a uni address i don;t know if you have access to it or not, if not email my trust address or add me to MSN

I did notice the painted side panel and the non painted top panel yes, the camera reflection gives it away.

Also, the Prae bit is not hard to spot. :p
