What Case Should I Buy?

Hi

Please can someone advise me on a good (preferably black) pc case? My budget is approx.£80 (I can't stretch to an aluminium one I know), but I'm not a gamer or an overclocker. I'm just using the pc for digital audio mixing/recording & digial video/photo editing (hobby). I will need room for 3 internal HDD drives & will maybe buy an SSD in the future. I probably won't have a dedicated graphics card (if I do it will be nothing fancy). I'll be using Intel integrated HD 3000 graphics with quick sync so hopefully no need for discrete card. Obviously I'd like one with good airflow, ( I may go for a mobo with auto overclocking so one touch of a button & the mobo will OC for me as never OC'd in my life!! :D). The Coolermaster 690 II Advanced & the Lancool Dragon Lord K62 have caught my eye! Are these good cases?? Or are these overdoing it for my needs? Any suggestions would be a great help thanks.

Hi, this case.

With this cpu.

and this motherboard.

Far better integrated graphics than the intel and will handle your photo and video editing better. Also later if you wanted to it will take a hybrid xfire setup.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the case link, it looks good! Is it a better case than the Lancool Dragon Lord K62 & Coolermaster 690 II Advanced then??

I didn't realise that AMD integrated graphics were better than Intels HD 3000!! Thing is I've been told that the whole SandyBridge chipset & architecture is superior to that of the AMD's, that right??! It only seems to be AMD's integrated graphics that is superior, the rest is Intels crown! As I will only be doing a little bit of video/photo editing (nothing professional) then Intels graphics should be well sufficient. I will mostly be doing digital audio mixing & recording which doesn't rely on the graphics, but rather on CPU & RAM. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'd say K62>CM690...

Advanced doesn't have that many features over Lite, and plenty of people do use the CM690. To be honest they're both great cases!

Hi.
The CM690-II Advanced and the light are the same case, but the light case has a few things less than the advanced case. Like the gpu bracket.
Both excellent case's, with good cooling and will take most hardware from the longest GPU's and large CPU coolers.

Check this link out. They should answer your questions about that AMD CPU

Also the Advanced case has the external HDD dock, where the lite version does not have that facility.
