im thinking of getting a new case to replace my £10 case i got a few years back...

thinking maybe get a case that sits on its side rather than standing up. then i can have my 360 sitting onto of it...
or would that just make my 360 get even hotter?
could just have the case lying down on its side and 360 lying down next to it. got quite abit of work space to fill as my laptop isnt sat next to my monitor anymore.
and would like foot area free so its not just sat on the carpit.
be nice if the case could be turned either way and it looks nice still.

after a case that keeps noise in, so its just a slight humm and not a fan noise.
and would like it to have good air flow.

wanting to spend around £100.

what would u recommend guys?

How big/small is your desk? Could you not put the case on the floor on the outside of the desk, and then have your xbox on your desk?

to the left of my monitor is about a meter of space with stereo + 360.
and enuff space below my monitor for pc + chair.

so could eather have case where it is now or to the left of the monitor on an angel.

i quite like the Antec P182 for £80.

inside is nice and i know someone with the silver version (would like the black) and he said its quiet.

anyone here got that case?

how does the so called fan controller for the top fan and the rear fan work? looks a little strange, it just normal 4 pin power to it then the 3 setting for each fan just limit how much power goes to the fan? :)

ok im 100% set on getting the P182.

but i got 1 question,
how long does the cable from the PSU to the motherboard need to be?

i just unpluged the cable from my motherboard to see how long it is, it does look quite long, but the square 4pin input for the motherboard is at the very top.
so the cable will be going from the bottom of the case to the top.

anyone here know how long the PSU cable must be for it to reach the top of the case?

heres my PSU spec:

P4 on that image is what goes into the top of the motherboard.
