Hi all,

What case would you reccomend for around £60?

I'm after something quiet, and was looking at the Antec NSK4480 / NSK6580, are these any good, or should I be looking at something else?

I can vouch for the Antec NSK4480B

Done a build for a christmas prezzie. You open the top panel with 2 screws and the side panels come straight off. Rolled edges, good PSU (Its a 380W and ive got it powering E2160 o/c at 2.6Ghz, x1950Pro512mb, 2gb Ram, DVDrw / SATA hard drive drive). Even comes with a 120mm exhaust fan on the back. I liked it. Comes with 2 front USB ports, and the power light glows blue around the edge. Quality case with a quality finish on it.

antec tend to be pretty good, both with cases and psu's i think.

If you could stretch by a bit more i'd have zero hesitation in recommending a Sonata V3, i've been using a Sonata V1 for 3-4 years (practically since they came out) and it's a very solid case, and built my nephew a machine in a V3 which was equally good build but with some mainly cosmetic improvements.

I'm seriously stuck at the moment between a Sonata V3 or a P182 when I build my next system (the sonata is winning, but it's tight as i fancy the 182's extra space, but it's twice the price allowing for a psu)

how about these coolermaster elite 330 plus extreme power 460W only 42.99 pounds

I appreciate the help, but that's twice that I've seen you link to a competitor now, and I'm rarely found in CC.

Please edit the link before you're suspended. :)

Thanks to all for their help and suggestions. :)

Antec is the only real choice. Only other thing I can think of is something like £30ish on an Akasa Zen, and spending the rest on a powersupply. Doubt it matches the value of the Antec solutions though.

If it was me, I'd buy a £50 PSU and one of those £15 cases that come with carp PSUs). Then I'd rip out the carp PSU and fit the good one. Long-term you can replace the case, and keep the PSU.
